Zappos是一家美國知名網路鞋店,從幾位開朝元老的草創時期變成年營業額超過1BillionUSD的公司。

華裔的CEO:Tony用這本書分享他的生平和Zappos的成功祕訣:如何把獨特的企業文化變成Branding的最好工具。

在我看來,Tony是一位腳踏實地、說到做到、敢於冒險和創新的人,他用一樣的理念打造Zappos,讓每位員工貫徹一樣的哲學,成為求新求變,真正做到客戶至上的服務。

讀完此書,你可以學到人生哲學,如何創業和塑造一個凝聚向心力的企業文化。

創業雖然有更大的自由,但相對也有更多的壓力和責任。

 【YourCultureisYourBrand】當然Zappos也不是在創立之初就知道企業文化的重要性,但是他們在摸索和學習的過程和經驗值得其他公司借鏡。

舉其中一個例子來說:一開始Tony請每位員工以100~500字寫出對於Zapposculture的看法和自己喜歡以及不喜歡哪些地方。

然後集結員工的回應之後,完全不加修飾就編輯成ZapposCultureBook,每年固定出一本,除了送給員工之外,也給供應商和客戶。

對內部而言,他們想了解公司文化演進的情況;對外部而言,代表他們說的和做的完全一樣,毫無隱瞞,值得別人信任。

Zappos的Mission使命宣言就是:ToliveanddeliverWOW。

(意指讓別人發出讚嘆不已的聲音或感受)就是這一點造就他們和其他的公司不同,大部份的企業著眼在提升營業額和利潤,他們專注在如何提供更好的服務,讓顧客在收到鞋子之後會有物超所值,被感動到的感覺,甚至願意好康道相報。

例如多寄幾雙不同size的鞋子供你試穿、365天之內都可以免費退貨、24小時都可以跟客服聯絡,還有隔夜就送到的服務。

比起傳統的廣告方法,口耳相傳的方式是最不花錢且更具效益的行銷手法。

當你能夠滿足客戶的需求,還讓他們時常有預期之外的驚喜,不但他們願意變成死忠客戶,更會幫助你向他們的家人或朋友宣傳。

Tony也把員工的意見彙整成能夠代表Zappos文化的10條CoreValue:每位員工必須在每天的例行工作裡奉行和實踐的準則。
