Anthony West is Professor of Electroceramics and Solid State Chemistry in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Sheffield University. He has written several bestselling books on Solid State Chemistry and is the Founding Editor of the Journal of Materials Chemistry. He is former President of the Inorganic Chemistry Division of IUPAC.
