力克．胡哲(Nick Vujicic)
　　出生時罹患海豹肢症，天生沒有四肢；
　　曾經三次嘗試自殺，十歲那一次，因為無法忍受讓家人為他的死終身悔恨，而決定中止這樣的行為，第一次意識到要為自己的快樂負責；
　　曾經一天內被十二個人嘲笑，最後因為一個同學的正面肯定而重新振奮。
　　他是澳洲第一批進入主流學校的身障兒童之一，也是他高中母校第一位競選學生會主席的身障者，並獲得壓倒性勝利，被當地報紙封為「勇氣主席」；
　　他是第一個登上《衝浪客》雜誌封面的菜鳥衝浪客，也曾在夏威夷海邊與海龜一同游泳、在哥倫比亞潛水，而且踢足球、溜滑板、打高爾夫球樣樣行。
　　他十六歲時第一次在小型聚會中跟同學分享自己的故事，口碑從十二個人開始；
　　在決定以「激勵他人」為生命目標，並創設「沒有四肢的人生」這個非營利組織之後，至今已在五大洲超過二十五個國家、舉辦過一千五百多場演講，給予 / 接受數百萬個擁抱，自稱為「擁抱機器」。
