Alexis Romano is a historian of dress and visual culture, and currently Curatorial Fellow at the Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She also teaches fashion studies at Parsons School of Design and New York City College of Technology. She holds a PhD from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
